MTS DEFENDER I HANDGUN DRY TRAIN 11AM - 1PM

Introduction to Instructors

Range safety briefing and ground rules
Safe weapons handling
Fundamentals of handgun shooting
Grip, Stance, Trigger control
Sights, Loading/Unloading
Presentation and target engagement from holster
Post fire response
Contact shooting 5 -7 yards
Controlled pairs
Engagement of multiple targets
Shooting on the move
Introduction to Defender II

Course includes weapons and equipment rental. Participants are advised to arrive 15 minutes prior to course start time. No calibers below .380 cal. Double action revolvers are welcome. (No single action pistols.)

Participants are advised to wear pants with belt loops and wear a plain belt. Flat shoes, Baseball caps and eye protection are recommended.
